Born in London, raised in Lismore, Co. Waterford, I grew up in a safe and quite town, surrounded by beauty and nature. A town famous for its grand Castle overlooking the Blackwater River. I was always inspired by the history of my town, one of my favourite places being St. Carthages Cathedral.

In school my favourite subject was Art, no surprise! I was also big into theatre and I went on to study these in college in Cork.

In 2006 I graduated from Crawford College of Art and Design in Fine Art and Painting and left holding two BA Honours Degrees.

I am blessed to be able to work from my home and raise my two daughters, Mya and Ria and live my best life with my wonderful supporting partner Brian. And not forgetting Dooley the family dog!!

I'm so lucky to be able to drive a short distance from my studio to beautiful locations. Inspiration for my work.

Aislinn Celisse Art was established in 2022 and has been growing ever since.
