Acumeen Farm, Dingle Peninsula

A quiet glimpse of the wild beauty of the Dingle Peninsula, painted at Acumeen Farm near Castlegregory, where rolling hills, stone walls, old timber gates and pasture come together in the unmistakable landscape of rural Kerry.

I was drawn to the simplicity of this scene — the weathered gate, the long grasses, the winding stone walls and the hills disappearing into the distance. Using expressive watercolour washes, layered marks and touches of ink, I wanted to capture not just the landscape, but that feeling of being completely surrounded by the Irish countryside.
Acumeen Farm is a working farm on the Dingle Peninsula, with a strong connection to the land and a focus on regenerative farming.
