This piece is all about the feeling of an Irish summer — rolling green hills beneath a dramatic sky, wild grasses moving through the fields and flashes of pink and gold scattered across the landscape.

I’ve used expressive watercolour washes, energetic marks and touches of brighter colour to capture the warmth, movement and natural abundance of the Knockmealdown countryside.
